PRINT COLLECTIONS
As a student at Parsons School of Design I focused my attention to learning and growing in textile design. I was able to gain experience in hand dyeing, batik, CAD, hand weaving, loom weaving, linocut, marbling, and felting. Here are some of the prints I did as a student.
I believe textiles are what truly brings a garment to life.
PROCESS
I wanted to explore this idea of reclaiming your inner child in adulthood. Through print work I wanted to showcase this idea of the inner child by incorporating contrasting elements like the harshness and rigidness of angular lines in geometric shapes to the softness of curves.
This idea exposed the struggle we endure for balance.
